Bio

Rebecca Horne has lived in Hawaii for over 35 years, mostly and currently living in Kailua.  She studied Fine Arts both in Hawaii and Europe, earning her MFA at the University of Hawaii.  Rebecca divides her time between teaching drawing and painting at the University of Hawaii and painting in Kailua.

2004 – 2005 Recipient of National Endowments for the Arts Award for Art in the Prisons Federal Detention Center, Honolulu, Hawaii; taught art history and drawing to inmates.
